Meet the Artist

Hello, I’m Alexandra Berkeley, a dedicated, professional artist since 2021 from Co. Dublin, Ireland.

I specialise in oil paint, oil pastel and digital artwork with hundreds of custom pieces having found new homes world-wide, from Australia to North America, The Middle East, The UK, Continental Europe and of course at home here in Ireland.

I’m a huge animal lover and am at my happiest when creating bespoke paintings of all animal types. 

I like to think that my portfolio is a testament to my versatility, featuring a delightful array of animals from dogs and cats to horses, sheep, cows, and even guinea pigs.

My intimate understanding of the bond between humans and their pets became immensely stronger when our family dog, Tzar came bounding into our lives- an adorable, mischievous Samoyed. Tzar set a new, even higher standard for all of my artwork. I create each piece with the same devotion I would expect for a portrait of Tzar. This can be seen in the meticulous detail and care I infuse into each and every piece. My main goal is for your pet's personalities to shine through, giving a sense of their unique character. Whether it's a memorial piece, or a celebration of weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, a personalised animal portrait is the perfect gift for any occasion.
